Cities
and Knights is an expansion set for the original Settlers
and adds quite a number of new dimensions. The clincher is the
cyclic process that repeats itself throughout the game involving nasty
Barbarians attacking the island of Catan. This provides you with
the opportunity to shine as Catan's protector or have your city
flattened.
Also a new and more expansive set of "development"
like cards and a host of city improvements/knights/traders. You will
find the possibilities endless.
An
excellent game where the person losing can suddenly win - we have seen
it happen many times. For many this is Settlers come of age.
