Carcassone is perhaps the best tile placing game to date. It has an
ever increasing list of expansions, derivatives and unique
graphics. It has a "wow have you seen the real place" factor too. It's now on our list of places to visit if we ever get to Europe. The
game is fun, fast (if played with 2 or 3 people) and great for both
kids and adults. The strategy can be as complex or as simple as you
like and the rules are very easy to follow.
Mrs Game gives it the big 9 out of 10 in the easy to learn ratings.
Tip:
We found the best way to play the carcassone games especially with more
than two people was to let people pick up their next tile as soon as
they had played so they could study their placement while waiting for
their turn.
